How to crochet feathers

I love how the feathers looks on the dream catchers, for a long time i have been waiting the crocheted version of the feathers. One beatiful day, i found this tutorial. Esperanza and Ana Celia are so talented and they created the more easy and fast pattern for us. It is in spanish but it include english subtitles. So i contacted them and they allowed me to write the pattern. YAY!

Materials

Any yarn recommended to crochet with 3 mm hook. I used Camilla Cotton Magic Lilac Shades Blue Shades for the step-by-step photos. I used variegated yarn but this is the perfect project to use all the leftovers of yarn.

The finished feather measure 17cm by 5cm. I tried another one using Herrschners 2-Ply Fashion Yarn on Boho Chic with a 2 mm hook and then another using Red Heart Super Saver on Earth and Sky with a 3.5 mm hook. I love how the colors looks on the last one but it’s too big to me. It measure 23 cm by 7.5 cm.
